Elvreng

A D-class body in the Eisn System, itself located in the Beta Quadrant. Elvreng was the second moon of the planet Romulus, one of that world’s four airless natural satellites. There were no permanent residents, but the Romulan Star Empire maintained a refuelling station and supply depot there, prior to its 2387 destruction. In many communities on Romulus, superstition held that Elvreng was the most ominous of the four moons. Old tales suggested that Elvreng’s position and shape in the night sky determined whether a child born at that time would be lucky or unlucky in life. An eclipse of sister moon Pirek by Elvreng was considered the worst possible omen for a newborn.
